School + Classes

Whatever skill technique or cuisine you want to learn, dish has the perfect class for you.  An intimate, casual atmosphere for learning about food and cooking for one another. Come join us; you’ll have fun at the table, and in the kitchen.



Our most popular class format, tie on your apron and roll up your shirt sleeves, it’s time to get  cooking. You will be greeted with a welcome drink, compliments of dish, and asked to take a seat around the kitchen counter for an overview of the recipes and techniques before dividing into teams to work on the chosen menu – just like in Chefs school. Under the guidance of the chef and their assisting chef, each team will prepare 1 of the courses on the menu, making enough for the whole class to enjoy. Once the cooking is completed the dish team will serve you the wonderful meal you all helped to create.

This is the same format as our popular hands-on class, but here you cook and have fun with your date and the new friends you will meet at dish.

The 'Date Night' class


Grab a complimentary welcome drink and sit down at the Chef’s Table for a relaxed, fun and educational evening. Our engaging chefs will put on a show for you, just like on TV! Better yet, if you wish you can get your hands dirty and help out. Learn tricks from the pros, ask questions and indulge in a delicious meal created right in front of your eyes.

*New* Skills

In our new ‘skills’ class the dish Chef will focus on one particular fundamental cooking technique or specific cooking method.  Three recipes will be provided to help demonstrate the skill and you will have the opportunity to try your hand at the technique with the Chefs’ guidance. Generous tastings will be provided.

Payment in full required at the time of registration. Please bring your gift card to the class if this is your method of payment. It is client’s responsibility to be aware of the date in time of a class, a courtesy email may be sent to remind guests of an upcoming class, but we are not responsible if you do not receive the email.

Unfortunately, there are no refunds for classes. A credit will be issued for a future class if we are provided with at least 48 hours class cancellation notice. No changes are allowed if the class is missed or less than 48 hours cancellation notice is given, however, we welcome you to send someone in your place. This is a strict policy, absolutely NO exceptions due to weather, illness, traffic etc.  Consider our cooking classes like cooking “events” or a concert. If you failed to show up to a concert, you cannot get a credit back from the concert venue, no matter the reason. Please think of our classes the same way!

If you fail to show up to a class, no credit is offered and there are no make up classes.

dish reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment with a minimum of 48 hours prior notice. We Reserve the right to alter the the menu or change the instructor if necessary.
